Terms & Conditions

The terms for using Westshore Weekly — the directory, claims, the ballot, and Partner subscriptions — in plain English.

The short version. Westshore Weekly is a free local directory and weekly email. Listings come from public sources and are ordered by completeness, never by payment. Claiming your listing is free, and ballot eligibility never depends on paying us anything. Paid Partner subscriptions come with the specific terms below.

Westshore Weekly is a publication of Innvio. Using this site means you accept these terms. Contact: [email protected] · Westshore Weekly, 30239 Center Ridge Rd, Westlake, OH 44145.

The directory

The directory is informational. Listing information is compiled from public sources, including OpenStreetMap contributors and public local sources, and we work to keep it accurate and current — but details change, and a business's own website or phone line is the final word on its hours, prices, and services. If you spot an error, claim the listing or email us and we will fix it.

Listings are ordered by completeness of information, never by payment. Sponsors never change the order of the List. Inclusion in the directory is not an endorsement of any business.

Claiming and verification

Claiming a listing is free. Claim only a business you own or are authorized to represent. When you claim, we check the details you submit against the public sources behind the listing. You then review the listing exactly as it appears and can send corrections. Verification finishes with one short verification call with the publisher. A listing is marked verified only after verification is complete.

We may decline, delay, or remove a claim or a verified mark if a claim cannot be verified, appears to come from someone not connected to the business, or was based on inaccurate information. You are responsible for making sure what you submit is accurate; corrections you send are applied as part of verification.

Verification runs on the same terms, in the same order, and to the same standard for every business — whether or not the owner engages with any sponsor offer or buys anything.

Best of the Westshore ballot

Best of the Westshore is our annual reader ballot. Appearing on the ballot requires a business to be nominated, claimed, and verified by the published deadlines. Eligibility never depends on payment — no business can buy a ballot place, a vote, or a win. One vote per person per category. Votes are audited before results are published. Votes obtained in exchange for incentives, or otherwise in violation of the published ballot rules, may be removed. A business whose votes are removed for a violation may also be removed from the ballot. Full ballot rules are published with the ballot each season.

Westshore Partner subscriptions

Westshore Partner is a paid subscription for listed businesses, sold in stepped enrolment tiers. Tier 1 (The Founding 50) carries a $19-per-month rate, paid at enrolment as a prepaid block of $114 for 6 months or $190 for 12 months; enrolment runs October 22 – November 1, 2026 and is limited to 50 verified partners. In month 5, $114 buyers may pay $76 for 4 more months and get 2 free (months 7–12); both Tier 1 paths total $190 for year one. Tier 2 (The Charter 100) is $29 per month, billed monthly, cancel anytime; enrolment runs November 2 – December 20, 2026 and is limited to 100 additional verified partners. Tier 3 (The Launch 100) is $39 per month, billed monthly, cancel anytime; enrolment runs December 21, 2026 – January 1, 2027 and is limited to 100 additional verified partners. From January 2, 2027 the standard rate is $49 per month, billed monthly, cancel anytime; no tier rate lock applies to it, and it may change for new enrolments with notice posted on the Partner page. Each tier closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on its end date or when its verified-partner cap is reached, whichever comes first, and a rate and a tier spot secure only when a listing is verified — not when payment is taken. Each tier rate stays locked, including at each renewal, for as long as the subscription or coverage stays continuously active; if it is cancelled, lapses for non-payment, or is refunded, the lock ends, and rejoining is at the rate and terms then in effect. A maximum of 3 partners per category, per city applies in every tier.

Full subscription terms, including refund terms, are provided at enrolment.

What is never guaranteed: votes, ballot outcomes, audience size or reach, and revenue. No payment changes any of those, and none of them is part of the purchase.

Cancelling is separate from a refund, and it is always available. Cancel anytime using the manage-subscription link on any payment receipt we email you, or email [email protected] and we will cancel it for you and confirm by email. Cancelling stops future billing; it does not refund fees already paid. Cancelling also ends your tier rate lock.
